Louise started her guitar playing career at the age of 8 taught by the nuns at
her Catholic Primary school, this was to set her up for a love of music in the form of piano, voice and guitar.

Many lessons and performances later, Louise completed her 7th Grade AMEB Speech and Drama with Honours and went onto to receive her Diploma of Creative Arts encompassing theatre, song and movement.

For the last 10 years she has been teaching students guitar and singing in her home studio from ages 8 to 68. Recording backing vocals for friends in the industry, organising and preparing school choirs, and small venue performances has kept her busy over the years.

Her teaching method has been passed down from her mother, who taught guitar for over 35 years. She aims to cover folk, pop, blues and classical basics in her classes. Louise believes that children who learn a musical instrument are improving their general academic knowledge, are tapping into their creative talents, and are getting involved in something that is meaningful and expressive. Adults who learn find the experience relaxing and stimulating.

Louise wants to pass on her love of music to the young (and not so young) and help them gain appreciation for the craft.
