Miguel is an inspiring and versatile musician whose journey into music began a little later than most — and that is exactly what makes his story so powerful. Growing up without a strong musical background, he discovered music at the age of 20 when he joined an academy in his home country in Latin America. What began as curiosity quickly became a calling. From that moment on, Miguel committed himself wholeheartedly to building a life in music.

His first major experience was performing in a school marching band, where he developed a strong foundation as a drummer. That experience sparked a deep love of rhythm, discipline, and ensemble performance. Driven by genuine passion and determination, Miguel went on to teach himself guitar, piano and bass, constantly expanding his musical language and technical skills. His curiosity for sound continues to grow — with aspirations to learn violin and saxophone in the future — reflecting his belief that a great musician never stops learning.

Miguel completed a Creative Arts degree at the University of Wollongong, specialising in orchestral composition as well as mixing and mastering. This formal training gave him a deep understanding of musical structure, arrangement, tone, and production. His background allows him not only to perform confidently across multiple instruments, but also to guide students in understanding how music fits together — from rhythm and harmony through to recording and sound design.
