Summer has been immersed in music from a young age, beginning her own musical journey at just 10 years old. Growing up in a household filled with music, she was inspired daily by her parents—both passionate music educators—who instilled in her a deep appreciation for the joy, discipline, and creativity that music brings to life.

Now continuing the family tradition, Summer brings that same sense of wonder and dedication to her role at Octave8, where she strives to create fun, enriching, and engaging musical experiences for each of her students. Her approach encourages exploration and self-expression while also laying the groundwork for solid musical understanding.
