James is a dedicated and experienced guitarist with a strong passion for music education. At 33 years old, he brings over two decades of guitar-playing experience, having picked up the instrument at the age of 11. He holds a Bachelor of Music (Contemporary) from the Australian Institute of Music, graduating in 2016.

As a professional musician, he has performed extensively across Sydney and has also played interstate and internationally aboard cruise ships. In addition to guitar, he is proficient in teaching bass guitar.

Over the years, he has taught students of all ages and abilities, tailoring his approach to suit each individual's needs. From January 2022 to February 2025, he worked at Inspire Allied Health and Education Group, where he taught music to children with special needs—an experience that deeply enriched his teaching philosophy and skill set.

He currently teaches guitar at Frensham Junior School every Tuesday during school terms and holds a current Working with Children Check.
